Last Minute Travel Packages are being searched more and more and are on the rise. Why? Everyone is busy, and some of the best deals can be found at the last minute. However, it still is conventional wisdom that if you book your hotel accommodations months in advance, you are getting the best deal. But does this ensure you are getting the best possible price? Not necessarily. While it is popular to think that better deals are out there if you buy early, that’s not necessarily the case. The fact of the matter is, sometimes you do get a better deal, and sometimes you don’t.

Putting off your vacation purchase can add an element of risk as well — for instance, that hotel could fill up and get sold out. However, in some cases, it might not sell out, which could lead to bigger savings than buying right away. Kind of risky.
